One of the most representative buildings in the centre of Bilbao re-emerges for all after a long process of transformation: la Alhóndiga, the wine warehouse designed by Ricardo Bastida in 1909. Now, AlhóndigaBilbao is a place brimming with activities for everyone, with the aim of becoming a new driving force behind cultural and leisure pastimes.

The curtain rises for AlhóndigaBilbao, with hopes of awakening an interest for knowledge and cultural sensibility within a space of 43 thousand square metres. The Centre will support positive experiences for those at different stages of their lives and those that promote sound values for our times.

Knowledge, culture, sports and fun will all have a place in an innovative, multidisciplinary space full of life. A meeting point where we can learn, share and enjoy the company of friends and relatives.
